Dorsa Argentea

This image captured by NASA 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft shows part of Dorsa Argentea in the south polar region of Mars. The ridges are most likely material deposited in subglacial channels, which become a positive relief feature when the ice is removed. On Earth, these features are called eskers.
