iss074e0414454 (March 26, 2026) --- ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut and Expedition 74 flight engineer Sophie Adenot inserts biological research samples into a science freezer inside the International Space Station’s Destiny laboratory module. The freezer, formally known as the Minus Eighty-degree Laboratory Freezer for ISS (MELFI), maintains experiment samples at ultra‑cold temperatures, significantly enhancing microgravity research capabilities and preserving biological specimens for analysis back on Earth.
