Various views of HST prior to grapple

STS103-305-016 (19-27 December 1999)--- One of the crew members onboard the Space Shuttle Discovery recorded this 70mm image of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) prior to its temporary capture with the remote manipulator system (RMS). Two teams of astronauts later acomplished three spacewalks to service the giant telescope.
